My kids christmas miracle

We all had a scare on Christmas night. First of all my kids love their dog floyd more than anything. We had a big snow storm on Christmas, it snowed all day and all night. Brandon left around 5:30 pm on his four wheeler. He went to get a movie from his grandma's house. We didn't notice but we think Floyd got out and chased after him. When Brandon got home he asked where his dog was. We hollered for him and looked in every room in the house. He was no where. Floyd hates to be cold and if he does leave home it's only for a few minutes. We started to worry. Around 6:30 pm me and Chris decided to go look for him in the truck. It was snowy real hard, it was like a blizzard. We think Floyd lost his direction because of the storm and because it was dark. We looked for him for 3 hours. The kids where crying thinking they were never going to see their best friend again. Finally around 9:30 we stopped looking. There was so much sadness in my house that i was even crying. The kids went down stairs to watch TV to get their mind of their lost dog. Around 10:30 pm Chris was looking out the front door and to his surprise he saw our dog running through the snow trying to get home. Floyd ran through the door, he was so cold and matted with snow. I grabbed a towel and dried him off. We hollered for the kids and they ran up stairs. They were all crying and hugging their dog. Makalie said it was a Christmas miracle. Amie told me that she prayed to Santa and asked him to bring their dog back. She said he listened. It was a miracle to my kids! It was so funny in a way. Floyd was so tired. He slept for the rest of the night. The kids got the camera out and took these photos of their dog.

I know that dog! He chased Lindsay Hinkins and me on our bikes during the summer!

I am glad he is okay! If you want an invite to my blog, email me at nesloeilatan@gmail.com
